Welcome to the Veteran Wealth Planning newsletter!
The personal finance education that your MBA program SHOULD have provided
Welcome!
Henry here. I’m excited that you decided to join our community of readers. Since you’re new here, I thought I’d give you a quick sense of what to expect.
You should expect one email a week, typically on Sunday mornings.
There is a ton of personal finance information on the internet, and most of it has no place in your life. This newsletter provides personal finance information tailored for young, high-earning MBAs who raised their right hand and served our country.
You’re not going to get stock tips or market commentary here. And you won’t get BS financial advisor sales pitches either. Instead, you’ll receive the personal finance education that your MBA program SHOULD have provided. But don’t worry, this weekly newsletter won’t be highly technical or 5,000 words long.
Each week we dive into one topic that’s relevant to YOUR life, and each month there is an overarching concept. We cover lessons learned from those who have been in your shoes and have made painful mistakes. My hope is that you don’t make the same mistakes they did, that you take advantage of fleeting opportunities, and that you lead a fulfilled life.
Often, you will encounter lessons that are relevant to your friends and peers. This newsletter is FREE, send them a link and help them.
Finally, talk to me. This newsletter is possible because Veterans who came before you shared their stories with me. If you never send me an email or DM that’s fine too, but if you feel like engaging know that I read every message and personally respond. REAL conversation means a lot to me, and it impacts the work that I do.
That’s all for now. Thanks for being here and taking your financial education seriously.
